1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Warranty Box. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Warranty Box mobile application (the "App"), including any content, functionality, and services offered through the App.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the App.
2. Description of Service
Warranty Box is a digital tool designed to help you track and manage your product warranties, receipts, and related documents. The App allows you to:
- Store product information and warranty details
- Scan, upload, and organize receipts, invoices, and warranty cards
- Receive notifications about warranty expirations
- Sync your data across multiple devices using iCloud (Premium feature)
3. User Accounts and Registration
The App does not require user registration or account creation. Your data is primarily stored locally on your device.
If you choose to use iCloud synchronization features, you will need to be signed in to your Apple ID on your device. Your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
4. Premium Subscription
4.1 Subscription Options
Warranty Box offers the following subscription options:
- Free Version: Limited to storing information for a set number of products
- Lifetime Premium: One-time purchase for unlimited access to all premium features
4.2 Payment and Billing
All payments and billing processes are handled through Apple's App Store. In-app purchases and subscriptions are subject to Apple's payment terms and conditions.
4.3 Refunds
We do not process refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's App Store according to their refund policy.
5. User Responsibilities
As a user of the App, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your products
- Maintain the security of your device
- Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Not attempt to access, modify, or disrupt the App's systems or servers
- Not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the App
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The App, including its content, features, and functionality, is owned by Warranty Box and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or included software.
7. User Content
You retain all ownership rights to any content you store within the App, including product information, images, and documents ("User Content").
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the App's services to you.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WARRANTYBOX, ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION, IF ANY.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Warranty Box, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the App or any violation of these Terms.
11. Data Backup and Loss
While we implement measures to protect your data, you are responsible for backing up your data. We are not responsible for any loss of data that may occur due to device failure, deletion of the App, or other issues.
Premium users who enable iCloud sync will have their data backed up to their iCloud account, subject to available storage and Apple's iCloud terms and conditions.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website. By continuing to use the App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
